From 10 to 12 million of our compatriots live outside of Armenia and Artsakh in many countries of the world. During the centuries, the forced emigration of Armenians from the homeland was conditioned by repressions and persecutions by foreign conquerors. In the territories of Western Armenia controlled by the Ottoman authorities in 1915, the genocide of 1,500,000 Armenians was organized and carried out.
Our compatriots abroad have become worthy citizens of different states. Their hardworking and talent deserve the love and respect not only of the population of these countries but for some of them- of the whole world.
